These dreamy pink treats are sure to please any Valentine's Party guest!
You will need:
  • An adult to help you
  • 1 envelope "Koolaid" unsweetened pink lemonade drink mix
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 envelopes "Knox" unflavored gelatin
  • 4 parfait glasses, or drinking glasses
  • 4 red gummy candy hearts or red-hot dollars (check groceries and candy stores)
  • Whipped cream
  • Candy sprinkles
How to Make Your Magic Heart Parfaits

Step 1
Mix lemonade according to instructions.
Step 2
Follow recipe for Knox Blox that appears on gelatin box, substituting the pink lemonade for fruit juice. Pour about 1 cup of gelatin into each glass.
Step 3
Chill for 50 minutes, then check every 5 minutes until gelatin is partially set. Gelatin is ready when you can still stick your finger in it, but it will feel thick and heavy.
Step 4
If you can't find candy hearts, make your own hearts with red-hot dollars while gelatin thickens. To make: place 1 red-hot dollar between 2 pieces of waxed paper, and roll thin (1/8") with a rolling pin or can and use a small heart cookie cutter, or scissors to cut a heart out of the candy.
Step 5
When gelatin is ready, push 1 heart into each glass. The heart will sink if the gelatin is not ready. Remove heart, and chill the gelatin for another 5 minutes if that happens.
Step 6
Put glasses back to chill in refrigerator for another 30 minutes until gelatin is completely set. Top with whipped cream and candy sprinkles.
