Play games with a Valentine spirit!

How well do you know your friends? Find out with this revealing game!
You will need for each player:
  • A large paper heart cut from pink construction paper.
  • A sheet of plain paper
  • A pencil
How to Play

On one side of the heart, have each player print their: favorite color, movie, book, food, animal and their name. Don't peek!!! Put all the hearts into a large bowl. Have the hostess, or an adult pick a heart out of the bowl and read it aloud leaving off the player's name. The players must try to guess who is being described and write their answers on their plain sheets of paper. Be sure not to call our your guess! The player with the most names correct wins.

This game will have you all tied up!
You will need:
  • A balloon for every two players
  • Great balance!
How to Play

Divide into pairs. Each player turns back to back to their partner and links their pinkies. Place a pink balloon between their backs. Each pair has to lower themselves until they're sitting on the floor, then get back up with out breaking the pinkie link or dropping or popping the balloon! Each pair that completes the task wins!

You'll have the sweetest and wackiest conversation ever, with this game.
You will need:
  • A bowl of candy conversation hearts
How to Play

Seat the players in a circle. Pass the bowl of candy hearts around the circle with each player taking 5 candy hearts from the bowl. The first player starts telling a story. Each player in turn, must add a few lines. The hard part is that each player must use the words from one of her candy hearts on her turn. Go around the circle 5 times until each player has used all their hearts. The story will get wackier as you go, and when you finish a story, you can eat your words.

A sample story might be: "You are my pal, Sally", said Emma. "Let's go stand on our heads on the front porch."

"No way!," said Sally. "It's very very cold out. You are a wild one, doggone it!

These cute little poems and jokes submitted by Persis are great "ice-breakers" at a Valentine's Day party.
Someone Loves You
Deep And True,
If I weren't So Bashful
I'd Tell You Who!

Roses Are Red
Violets Are Blue,
Happy Valentines
To You!

Knock, Knock
Who's there?
Olive.
Olive who?
Olive you!

Knock, Knock
Who's there?
Love.
Love who?
I love you!

Love

Written and submitted by Amy Baker

My love runs deeper
than just my heart,
it runs through my soul
part by part.

It runs through my body
like blood through my veins,
my love will stay heathy
'til I have pains.

And then my heart will break
and leave me in blood,
you might as well stick a stake
in my love!
