![]() Children love this special treat and it is easily adapted to most party themes. If you have a birthday person that doesn't care for traditional cakes, this one is sure to please! You will need the following:
Cream together first three ingredients (1/2 stick margarine, 1 cup sugar and 8 ounces of cream cheese) and set aside. Mix next two ingredients (2 1/2 cups milk and 2 (3 oz.) boxes pudding) and fold in Cool Whip. Mix with cheese mixture. Mix oreo cookies in blender or food processor (or crush in Ziploc bag until medium fine). Note: Wash flower pot and trowel thoroughly. You may use a plastic container that fits into the flower pot. Or, use a Cool Whip lid in the bottom of the flower pot so the mixture won't leak out. Put a layer of crushed cookies in the bottom of your container, then a layer of pudding mix, alternate, ending up with a layer of cookies on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Plant flowers and then place worms or bugs coming out of the cookies (dirt) and on the flowers. Serve with trowel. A great conversational piece! Also tastes scrumptious! Serves 14 to 20. |
