
Small guests demonstrate their cake decorating skill with unfrosted cup cakes. Make several different flavors, chocolate, vanilla and a "pink" flavor like strawberry. Bowls or tubs of different flavor frostings and trims form the centerpiece. Buy plenty of "sprinkles", small candies like M&M's, gummy bears, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate chips, coconut, etc... anything you think a child can stick to a cupcake. Have colorful plastic knives around the table for children to "paint" the cupcake. (Provide paper aprons and caps.) The rules permit one cake to be eaten during the decorating, then have everyone display and eat their masterpieces together.
