Kids know all the comic-strip and cartoon characters, and can be depended on to come dressed as their favorite. Games should have a cartoon theme--Donald Duck, treasure hunt or Dagwood "string-eating" contest. Food: Wimpy-burgers. Provide each child with a small paper sack and a small box of crayons. You can also buy inexpensive children's scissors that they can take home as favors. Collect lots of comic strips, enlarge comic strips at your local copy center. Have them cut out the characters and color them. They can make their own comics by combining them together and pasting them on a large piece of paper. Have them decorate their sacks and help them write in cute sayings.
