Vanilla Fudge
Ingredients:
2 cups Sugar
2/3 cups Milk
2 tblsp. Corn sirup
2 tblsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Kitchen wares:
Candy thermometer
Heavy saucepan
Shallow greased pan

Directions:
1. Put sugar, milk, and sirup in a saucepan. Stir until sugar is dissolved.

2. Cook slowly until the temperature reaches 236F. or until the mixture forms a soft ball when a little is dropped into cold water.

3. Remove from heat.

4. Add butter or margarine.

5. When cooled to lukewarm, add vanilla.

6. Beat until thick.

7. Pour into shallow, greased pan. Chill.

8. Cut into squares when firm.
