| Real Chocolate Snowballs |
Ingredients:
6 Medium Snowballs about three inches in diamiter (Frozen yogurt, ice cream, or shaved ice will work well also.)
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
2 oz Unsweetened Chocolate (or 1/3 cup chocolate chips)
2 tblsp. Butter or Margarine
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Kitchen wares:
Medium saucepan
Directions:
1. Combine water and chocolate, heat in the medium saucepan over low heat. Add sugar and heat until dissolved.
2. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla extract.
3. Pour over fresh snowballs and serve immediately.
Makes about enough for 6 medium snowballs.
Tip: If you would like a thicker syrup, replace the 1 cup of water with 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of corn syrup.
