Shortcut/Tip August 13, 1999: Cut Corners to Fill Small Jars A corner cut from an envelope makes a great funnel for filling small jars like salt and pepper shakers. If cut as shown, so that the flaps can be bent down, you'll have a self-seating funnel that will hold itself open!
