	Shortcut/Tip April 5, 1999: Rubber Pads Silence Jigsaw Vibrator-powered jigsaws may jig and vibrate too loudly for your and your neighbor's comfort. To deaden the sound, slip a section cut from a rubber kneeling pad (or a heavy rubber mouse pad) under each foot of the saw.
