Shortcut/Tip February 5, 1999: Caulking Tube Makes Funnel A discarded caulking tube makes a great funnel for pouring into small mouthed bottles or jars. Using a standard caulking tube, take a stiff wire and put it through the nozzle end of the tube to push the metal disk out the end. A good washing with gasoline or turpentine will clean out the old caulking compound.
