Shortcut/Tip January 22, 1999: Photometer Checks Headlights Even after properly marking a garage door and aiming each sealed-beam headlight separately, you may not be sure that the bright spot is perfectly on target. Try using your exposure meter. Hold it against the door and point it towards the uncovered headlight. It should indicate the exact position of the bright spot.
