Higher wheat prices mean higher bread prices

Last month, a United Nations conference in Romediscussed the world's rising food prices. The group called for trade barriers to be reduced and food export bansto be lifted. The cost of major foodcommodities has doubled over the past two years with rice, corn and wheat atrecord highs.  The Philippines andHaiti, among other countries, have been hard-hit.
