Just Chill‘in
MONDAY, JANUARY 20, 2003 10:51 PM

If you’re not a member of the Polar Bear club, the winter months are probably making you wish for a warm summer’s day in Waikiki.

It may be a while before the snow out side begins to melt and you sip lemonade instead of hot coco. So until then, here are some tips to take the chill off the winter months.

Hang pictures from your vacation up where

Relax by the fire

you can see them, seeing the bright sunshine is a great way to warm up.

Go ice-skating; there is nothing more fun then the sound of blades on the ice.

Make a warm facial mask out of honey and oatmeal,

Try Ice Skating

then relax while listening to the crackling of the fireplace.

Plant an indoor herb garden, and put it in a sunny window. The seeds sprouting will be just like an early spring.

Take an afternoon outing to

Winter can be a wonderland

a museum or the mall. If you go to the mall, buy a warm pretzel while you’re there.

Paint your toenails pink, or a light shade or green or blue! You will feel just like an Easter bunny instead of a snow bunny!
