Who’s the greatest cartoon character of all time? According to TV Guide it’s Bugs Bunny. The 'wascaally wabbit' is the only Top 10 cartoon character to have pre-dated television. Bugs Bunny first appeared in 'Porky's Hare Hunt' in 1938. No. 2 is Homer Simpson, the father on Fox's 'The Simpsons,' followed by 'Rocky and Bullwinkle,' 'Beavis and Butt-head' and Dr. Suess's 'Grinch.' Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble of 'The Flintstones' also made the Top 10, as did Angelica Pickles of 'Rugrats,' Charlie Brown and Snoopy of 'Peanuts' and various 'South Park' characters. That’s Kids in the News. Check back next week.
